Danielle's family ranch outside Roy, MT provided an amazing setting for her senior portraits. From the gorgeous evening light, to the horses, wheat fields, ponds, and old trucks (not to mention the beautiful subject herself), I had so much fun with this shoot. Thank you to Danielle and her sweet Mom Doreen for the fun session, warm hospitality, and iced tea!

Congratulations Pam and Andrew! Mary and I had a blast photographing this wonderful small town wedding. I always love going to my home town of Winifred (population 150) to photograph weddings because of all the familiar faces and genuine love and support of a small town community. The weather was perfect (Pam even got a little sunburn on her shoulders during the portrait session!), the horse and wagon ride down main street was fantastic, and the dance floor was constant entertainment! Thanks Pam and Andrew, I wish you the happiest ever after.

When Jessie wanted to do pictures at a waterfall on her family ranch, I was super excited. I had no idea that I would have a twenty minute ride in a ranger (somewhere between a four wheeler and a jeep) down hillsides that would make a mountain goat dizzy (although Jessie and her Mom Laura didn't even seem to notice). I kept thinking, only in the middle of Montana would you be provided with muck boots and a ranger to get to a photo shoot- I love it! It was wonderful hanging out with Jessie and Laura, and the waterfall was so beautiful in the morning light. Jessie will be graduating from Winifred next year, and I have known, enjoyed, and admired her and her family for a long time. Thanks Jessie, and congratulations!
